Please join us for a peaceful and meaningful New Year’s Eve celebration. There will be delicious vegetarian appetizers and desserts provided by members of our community. Followed by a special teaching and guided meditation led by Kelsang Chopag. During the meditation we will set a good intention and make positive resolutions for the coming year.

About the Resident Teacher
Kelsang Chopag is the Resident Teacher of Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center in Fort Myers, Florida. He teaches meditation classes, workshops and retreats across the Southwest Florida area. He is an ordained Buddhist monk who has trained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and other qualified teachers. Chopag began his practice at Kadampa Meditation Center New York, an internationally renowned meditation and retreat center in upstate New York. While in New York, he spent several years learning and practicing the meditative teachings of Buddha. His teachings are light, humorous and practical, and he uses logic and analogies to help others discover the meaning of Buddha’s teachings.
