 Florida Centers

The five Florida Kadampa Buddhist Centers and their branches offer a variety of meditation classes throughout Florida.

Founded in 1996, Parbawatiya Center was the first Center of Kadampa Buddhism to be established in Florida. Parbawatiya Center has branches in Lutz, New Port Ritchey, St. Petersburg and Tampa.

Kadampa Meditation Center (KMC) Florida started out as Kancha Center in 1997 in Sarasota and became KMC Florida on December 23rd 2007. It has branches in Bradenton and Venice.

Samudrabadra Center was started as a branch of Kancha Center in 1998 in Fort Myers, and became an independent Center in 2006. It has branches in Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, and Naples.

Drolma Center was opened in 2000 in Fort Lauderdale, and has branches in Boca Raton, Flagler Beach, Jacksonville/Neptune Beach, Miami, North Palm Beach, St Augustine.

Vajrapani Center in Orlando was started as a branch of Parbawatiya Center in 2002, and became an independent Center in 2006. It has branches in Lakeland, Merritt Island, Mt Dora, and Orange City.
